Wind Knocked Down a Tree, Pushed In Window

Wind storm knocked down a tree and a part of the tree went through the window allowing the wind, rain, and debris to come into the area. SERVPRO of Meriden cleaned up the mess, dried all the area out to prevent any moisture build-up or mold growth. In a situation like this, with little ventilation or airflow, it's critical to make sure the window opening was repaired to the extent it was boarded up to prevent and further water damage. Once it was completely repaired and prior to adding the drywall, the moisture level neede to be tracked to prevent future mold growth.
