Remediation of Water Damaged Wall

After a flood, the drywall in the walls pulled the water into the drywall and into the wood behind the drywall. We needed to take the heating vent cover off to adequately remove the damaged drywall and dry all the are to prevent any mold growth. Because this is near a corner, special attention needs to be focused on the area that is sharing the "corner" wall. In many cases, water will migrate over to the corner wall since they both share a common area that was water damaged. Special attention also needs to focus on cleaning the inside of the duct due to the close location of the water. Water, over time, can create mold.
