Water came in from the bedroom ceiling down the wall and the water damaged the wall. SERVPRO remediated the ceiling by the heating vent to remove the damaged ceiling and dry the area so no moisture would be left that would potentially lead to mold growth.

When doing this type of process in this type of area (forced hot air system) you need to be extremely sensitive to the moisture content in the immediate area. If the moisture level is high, that high level of moisture can lead to rusting of the ducts or the straps holding the ducks. It can also create mold in the duct.
